This scarf is made of two separate vintage saris from India that have been stitched together. We’ve used a special technique called “Kantha Stitch”-is a type of embroidery popular in Odisha and west Bengal India.This type of stitching is usually done using a variety of different colors to create a unique pattern. An additional treatment of tie-dye has been added to create a fusion of colors for a more Bohemian feel.
Style suggestion:
Drape over shoulders as a shawl; wrap around neck or head; tie as a belt; layer over a tank top, strapless dress or use it as a sarong atop swimwear. There are endless numbers of ways to wear a sari scarf!
