- This delicate scarf was bought from the company Sabahar, run by a wonderful Canadian lady named Kathy. Her company, which is a member of the World trade Organisation, is committed to providing and sustaining ethical employment whilst creating high quality products. Sebahar is able to support rural households and enable woman to earn an income through spinning silk and cotton.Not only did we admire the company ethics but we totally fell for this light square scarf. It looks just great folded in half, bandana style like a cowboy! Ethiopia has a long history of cotton with the women traditionally hand spinning and the men hand weaving it. This lightweight, long gauze scarf features bright pink stripes and is finished with a with hand twisted cotton fringe.
