We found this Rajasthan style tie dye silk scarf in Jaipur India-( the pink city) in one of its colorful bazaar .we designed the scarf from a full length sari cut into 2 pieces and than tie dye again in the bottom in one color so each piece is unique.Tie dye is a dyeing process where parts of the fabric are knotted so that when the fabric is dyed (using only vegetable )dyes the knotted section retain their original color . This work is done by local women , each one using their own personal methods .. The results are very creative,colorful and unique.
Rajasthan is colorful because of what its people wear bright color to make up for the absence of blossoming flowers in their region.
Everything from head to toe establishes their identity,their religion.economics and social status.
